What is Record Traceability?
TopTeam Web provides the capability to link related records with Traceability.
The Traceability widget is visible on detail editor of any Repository Object’s record. It shows the list of all Trace Links (Upstream/Downstream) for the record.
For example, when you embed a link “Screen Mockup > Traces From > Use Case“, it automatically creates a relationship “Use Case > Traces Into > Screen Mockup“.
When to use it?
Use Record Traceability for:
- Viewing all Upstream/Downstream Traces for Repository Objects
- Adding Upstream/Downstream Trace Links for Repository Objects
- Creating new traced records
- Deleting Trace Links
- To make/clear suspect status of links
