What are the prerequisites for connecting TopTeam HPQC Connector to HP Quality Center Server?

TopTeam HPQC Connector connects to HP Quality Center Server using HP Quality Center client side set-up. You can install the HP Quality Center client side set-up by logging into HP Quality Center from the computer on which TopTeam HPQC Connector is being installed, using Internet Explorer. Typical URL format to connect to HP Quality Center is “http://<<ServerName>>:<<PortNo>>/qcbin”.

What are the prerequisites for connecting TopTeam HP Quality Center Connector to TopTeam Application Server?

TopTeam HPQC Connector accesses TopTeam repository data through TopTeam Application Server via TCP/IP or HTTP/HTTPS protocols.

Prerequisites for connecting via TCP/IP Protocol:

  • Ensure that TopTeam HPQC Connector has access to TopTeam Application Server via TCP/IP protocol on the specified port number.
  • Ensure that the firewall on your network or the computer on which TopTeam HPQC Connector is installed is not blocking access to TopTeam Application Server.

Prerequisites for connecting via HTTP/HTTPS Protocol:

  • TopTeamHttp.dll is installed and configured on IIS Web Server.
  • TopTeam HPQC Connector can access IIS Server via HTTP/HTTPS protocol.
  • Ensure that the firewall on your network or the computer on which TopTeam HPQC Connector is installed is not blocking HTTP/HTTPS access to IIS Server.
