Overview
When you create a project, by default the Project Security restrictions are OFF. In other words, all Project Team Members are free to edit any record within that project until you “Turn Project Security ON”.
This article describes the steps for enforcing (turning ON) Project Security using Project Editor.
NOTE: Users who are not Team Members in a project can NEVER access project data whether Project Security is turned ON or NOT.
Alternatelty, you can enforce Project security using TopTeam Desktop App. For more information, refer to the article How to enforce (turn ON) Project Security.
Who should read this?
- TopTeam Project Admins
- TopTeam Administrators
- TopTeam Users
Step 1. Go to Repository Explorer and click Edit Project
Step 2. Project Editor opens, select Security and enable the Enforce Security Rules on Project option
Click Save, Project Security is enforced on the project.
