What is the State Diagram editor?
The State Diagram editor allows you to model the different States and Transitions for components of a system.
You can access this editor from Repository Explorer > Others > State Diagrams > New State Diagram. Refer to the image below.

When to use it?
Use the State Diagram editor when you want to:
- Depict the flow of a process for components of a system
- Define and understand the stages for the components of a system and their transition from the beginning to the end of the process
- Understand the dynamic aspects of a system
