Overview
TopTeam Desktop App provides a powerful import wizard for importing existing Use Cases from documents and files.
Import Use Cases from Document helps you import existing Use Cases from Microsoft Word (*.docx, *.doc) or Rich Text Format (*.rtf) documents.
This article describes the procedure for importing Use Cases from a word document.
Who should read this?

Step 1. Importing Use Cases from a Microsoft or Rich Text document
Step 2. Import Records to TopTeam Wizard opens
Step 3. Select the format of the document from which you want to import Use Cases
Step 4. Import Use Cases from Documents Wizard opens
Step 5. Select a destination Project where you want to import Use Cases
Step 6. You can import multiple Use Cases from multiple documents. Add the file(s) from which you want to import Use Cases.
You can select Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx) documents or Rich Text (*.rtf) documents.
Step 7. Select a file
Step 8. Read the information to understand how to import Use Cases
IMPORTANT:
You can copy Use Case information to fields using the following methods:
- Select the text in the document, right-click and choose an option from the pop-up.
- Copy and paste the text from the document to Use Case using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V keyboard shortcuts.
Step 9. Enter a Use Case Name
Step 10. Select and copy the text from the source document into Use Case fields
You can also copy the text and right-click in the field where you want to paste the text.
Step 11. Add Actors
You can copy or add existing Actors or add new Actors.
Step 12. Copy and paste Flow-of-Events steps from the source document to Use Case
Step 13. View Summary and click Finish
Use Case is successfully imported from the document.
