Overview
When a record is modified in TopTeam and the modification has an impact on its linked records, these linked records can automatically be made suspect by TopTeam. For this, you must turn ON the Automatic Suspect Behavior option for these record type(s).
Only forward or downstream linked records can be made suspect.
In this article, you will learn the procedure for turning ON the Automatic Suspect Behavior option and the automatic process of making linked records suspect.

Prerequisites
- You must have System Administrator privileges to turn ON the Automatic Suspect Behavior option.
- You must have Add/Remove Trace Relations privileges.
Step 1. Open Project Settings
Additionally, you can specify whether or not the system should prompt the user to confirm suspect forward linked records each time an upstream record is modified.
Step 2. Modify a record
NOTE: The modification must create a version of the record.
Step 3. The Confirm “Automatic Cascade Suspect” Action window opens
When you modify a record, this Automatic Cascade Suspect window is opened which allows you to suspect the linked records recursively.
