Overview
From Repository Explorer, you can copy the Requirements from one Requirements Document to another. You can copy the Requirements from one parent/child group to another, or between child documents within the same group.
This article describes the procedure for:
1. Copying Requirements Branch from another Requirements Document
2. Copying selected Requirements from the another Requirements Document

Step 1. Copying Requirements Branch from another Requirements Document
Step 1.1. Right-click a Requirement to which you want to copy
Step 1.2. The Select Requirements Branch to Copy window opens
Step 1.3. Confirm the Requirement Type change to proceed
Click OK to accept this Type change and continue the copy process.
Click Cancel to end the copy process and close the Select Requirements Branch to Copy window.
NOTE: This confirmation window will only appear if the Requirements Document is in a Strict Hierarchy mode.

Step 2. Copying selected Requirements from the another Requirements Document
Step 2.1. Right-click on a Requirement to which you want to copy the Requirements from another Requirements Document
Step 2.2. The Select Requirements to Copy window opens
Step 2.3. Select the Project and Record Type from which you want to copy the Requirements
Step 2.4 Confirm the Requirement Type change to proceed
Click OK to accept this Type change and continue the copy process.
Click Cancel to end the copy process and close the Select Requirements to Copy window.
NOTE: This confirmation window will only appear if the Requirements Document is in a Strict Hierarchy mode.
