Overview
You can copy-paste requirements from your Excel files into TopTeam repository. A wizard will guide you through the steps of copying requirements from an Excel file.
In this article, you will learn about how to import Requirements from the clipboard with the help of a wizard.

Step 1. Open the Excel file,from where you want to copy requirements
Step 2. In TopTeam, paste the requirements
1. You can open either Requirements Document Editor or Requirements Tree editor for pasting requirements. Both these options can be opened from the Requirements Document detail editor.
2. Requirements will be pasted as child requirements of the requirement on which the cursor is placed. If no requirement is selected in the editor, requirements will be added as child requirements of the Requirement Type to which they belong.
You can also use Ctrl+V or click Paste on the ribbon toolbar to paste the requirements.

Step 3. Specify whether the first row of your data should be header
Step 4. Map fields between data file and TopTeam
Step 5. Specify Project and Requirements Document into which you want to copy requirements
By default, the current project and Requirements Document is selected. If you want to change both, you can change by selecting desired project and document from the drop-down lists.
You can also create a new Requirements Document on this page.
Step 6. View Action Summary and import the requirements
Step 6. Requirements have been imported successfully
